Cinematographer - Storyteller - Adventurer
Ahmad Abushamma, originally from Amman, Jordan, has been living and working professionally as a Director of Photography, Gaffer, and Camera Operator in Las Vegas for the last 6 years.

With a keen interest in Environmental, social justice issues as well as highlighting marginalized voices, Ahmad’s has a uniquely insightful approach to visual storytelling. Whether he is directing his own creative vision or helping realize someone else’s, he applies this same curiosity for humanity and passion for the art of storytelling to all of his work.

As a filmmaker and cinematographer, Ahmad has primarily worked on documentaries, commercials and corprate interviews/videos. He has received several awards for his work, such as the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter's Outstanding Achievement Awards in Student Craft in 2019, 2020, and 2021. He has also maintained involvement in the Nevada Women's Film Festival and the Las Vegas Film Festival.

In addition to his work as a cinematographer and documentary filmmaker, Ahmad works professionally as a Gaffer and Camera operator as well as a Assistant Camera on big local and national TV and film productions.
